CTS is Europe’s largest dedicated Google Cloud partner. Your primary focus will be to increase the market penetration of Google Cloud products and to sell CTS’ Professional Services and Managed Services capabilities.
You’ll have support from our market leading Cloud Architecture function, who will provide technical expertise to help your customers understand what can be achieved with Google Cloud technologies.
You won’t be restricted by internal red tape or held back by a shortage of technical resources, and our uncapped commission scheme ensures your successes would be generously rewarded.
You’ll be trusted to have full ownership of your customer relationships, and will be encouraged to ‘try new things’ and be innovative in your approach. What you’ll do:
This is a truly ‘New Business’ focused sales role in which you’d have a lot of autonomy to generate your sales pipeline through activities such as…
- leveraging your relationships within Google to identify and qualify opportunities within greenfield accounts.
- working with the Marketing team to create engaging and targeted pitches and value propositions
- utilising tools such as Hubspot and LinkedIn to establish links within target organisations within your assigned vertical market
- partnering with the Business Development function to engage with relevant senior (C-level) stakeholders within target organisations.
- arranging vertical-specific events in partnership with our dedicated Events Team to promote our capabilities.
This is a ‘land and expand’ Account Management role in which you would retain ownership of your accounts after you’ve secured the initial deal. You’d continue to explore opportunities to sell additional services and create strong ties within your account base.
You’ll have experience of having ownership of the full sales lifecycle from prospecting and qualifying the opportunity to defining the solution and closing the deal.
You’ll demonstrate proactivity and enthusiasm to maintain momentum in your sales processes, and will be highly effective in co-ordinating stakeholders and closing deals.
Key Skills:
- Promote Google Cloud products, professional services engagements and managed service agreements to target organisations (primarily UK based).
- Significant enterprise or mid-market account management experience and a track record of new business development in the Cloud or SaaS industry
- A track record of success in leveraging relationships within partner organisations to generate sales pipeline.
- A good technical understanding of the public cloud (GCP, AWS or Azure) or the SaaS industry
- Self-starter, positive attitude with resilience and determination to succeed
- Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM database
- A highly motivated attitude to meeting and exceeding targets
- Willingness to contribute to a great culture, and deliver new ideas to the role

Location:
You could be based anywhere in the UK and work fully remote if that would be your preference. There would be regular travel to London to visit the Google offices, and to customer sites across the UK.
If you live close to one of our UK offices (Manchester, London & Edinburgh) you can choose to work from the office as often as you would like. There will be some occasional travel required to the head office in Manchester.
